Mother’s lovely court has been decorated in the goddess temples of Aligarh metropolis. Chaitra Navratri is starting from 9th April. Mother Shailputri will be worshiped on the first day. Mata Rani will be worshiped for nine days.
Special preparations have been made in all the goddess temples. The Nine Devi Temple located in Naurangabad has been decorated in a grand manner. A fair is organized here during Navratri. Barricading has been installed in the premises. The servants will be ready to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
Religious rituals including bhajan-kirtan along with goddess worship will be held for nine days at Gandhi Park Chamunda Devi Temple, Kali Temple at Mahendra Nagar, Maa Durga Temple at Achal Tal, Nine Devi Temple, Gayatri Temple, Kamakhya Devi Temple. Goddess will be worshiped in homes also. Devotees purchased worship materials on 8 April. There was a crowd of customers in the markets till late night.
Maa Jagdamba will come riding on a horse
Astrologer Pandit Hridaya Ranjan Sharma of Sri Guru Jyotish Shodh Sansthan told that Maa Jagadamba will come riding on a horse. Sitting on a human body, she will depart from the earth for heaven. He told that Ghat Sthapana has great importance during Navratri. The Kalash is installed in an auspicious time. Establishment of Kalash will be more auspicious during daytime from 10:45 to 01:54 pm. After this, Abhijit Muhurta will be from 11:39 to 12:25 in the afternoon. In this also, doing Ghatasthapana is considered auspicious.
